Luxurious Coupe SUV: Renault Rafale!

Rafale can be described as a luxurious off-road vehicle. The French brand aims to attract luxury and off-road enthusiasts with its new model in the D-segment. Furthermore, the vehicle’s close resemblance to a coupe design gives it a sporty look. Rafale, along with Austral and the revamped Clio, represents the first examples of the brand’s new design language.

From the front, the car stands out with a grille adorned with blue accents. Additionally, the lion’s tooth-shaped LED daytime running lights, which are part of the new design language, are positioned downward. When considering the bumper design that holds all these components together, we can confidently say that we are looking at a truly imposing SUV.

Twin of Renault Clio: New Mitsubishi Colt introduced!

Renault Clio's step-sibling, Mitsubishi Colt, is now on the stage! Here are the design features and other details in our news...

At the rear, two LED taillights are complemented by the Renault logo in the center and the distinctive font displaying the “Rafale” name. Especially when taking into account the combination of the rear window and the spoiler, as well as the overall profile, it’s easy to draw similarities to the Lamborghini Urus model. It appears that the car has drawn inspiration from the Urus. The massive 21-inch wheels are specially designed for the Rafale. Furthermore, unlike many other Renault models, the car is rear-wheel drive.

Renault equips the Rafale model with a hybrid system powered by a turbocharged three-cylinder engine and dual electric motors. The 1.2-liter petrol engine produces 130 horsepower (96 kW) and 205 Nm of torque, while the primary electric motor delivers 70 horsepower (50 kW) and 205 Nm of torque. The secondary electric motor serves as a 34 horsepower (25 kW) generator with 50 Nm of torque. In total, the Rafale offers a power output of 200 horsepower, providing users with performance capabilities.

In addition to the aforementioned features, the Rafale is set to receive further enhancements in the upcoming period. With the addition of an extra electric motor at the rear, it will be equipped with a newly developed plug-in hybrid unit that offers 300 horsepower and all-wheel drive capabilities. This will result in a powerful SUV with enhanced dynamics.
